Sharjah Women’s College is one of the popular educational institutions of the city of Sharjah. It was established in the year 1997 to fulfill the educational requirements of the women of Sharjah and also of the adjoining areas. The campus of Sharjah Women’s College is located in the University City, a complex of post-secondary educational institutions that contains the American University of Sharjah, the Police Academy, the Women’s University of Sharjah, the Men’s University of Sharjah, and the two Higher Colleges of Technology. The complex also includes a world-class library and a convention center.

The Certificate Programmes continues for 2 years, some of the Certificate programs offered by SWC are Computer Information Processing, General Business, Financial Services & Banking, Medical Administrative Technology, Office Technology and Laboratory Technician.
The Higher Diploma spans for 4 years and the courses offered are Information Technology, Health Information Management, Business

The Diploma Programmes of Sharjah Women’s College continues for 3 years in the streams of Financial Services & Banking, Applied Business, Computer Information Processing, Laboratory Technician, Office Technology Business, Medical Administrative Technology, Graphics - CAD and Graphic Arts. The Bachelor’s Degree for education is a five-year program.

Sharjah Women’s College offers a gamut of facilities and services to its students like Integrated Learning Center, Career Center Assembly Hall, Student Services, Sports Complex, Faculty Resource Center and a Cafeteria. There are many laboratories that are dedicated to different departments like Health Sciences, Graphic Arts and CAD laboratories.
