American University of Sharjah (AUS) is a prestigious seat of higher education in Sharjah. Founded in 1997 by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Wassimi, member of the Supreme Council of UAE and the ruler of Sharjah.
