The Zurich International School (ZIS) is among the prominent Zurich schools. Founded in 2001 July, the curricula of Zurich International School is designed for children from pre-school stage to the 12th standard. The total student strength of ZIS is more than 950, with not more than 18 pupils in each class. English is the medium of instruction here. The method of instruction and the courses of study in the Upper School abide by the rules laid down by IBO Diploma Program or US College Board Advanced Placement Program. In case, of the Lower School, it follows the structures set by Primary Years Program of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
