American International School of Zurich is a secondary day school that provides a comprehensive curriculum for students. It was founded in 1963 in order to impart quality education for the international communities residing in Zurich.
In 2001, American International School of Zurich merged with International Primary School of Zurich, which offered education from preschool to grade 6. These two schools joined to form the present Zurich International School that became the first independent institution of the city.
Zurich International School is recognized by both New England Association of Schools and Colleges and European Council of International Schools. The school houses four campuses where more than 1200 pupils of more than 45 nationalities come for their daily education.
This is a coeducational day school of Zurich where students between age groups 3 to 18 are offered quality education.
