History of TV3 Viasat

The television channel of TV3 Viasat came into existence on the 31st of December, 1987. Jan Stenbeck, the founder of TV3 Viasat, started this chnnel with the aim of telecasting several entertainment programs in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. However, Denmark and Norway soon launched its own television channel of TV3 Viasat.

In the initial days, the programs of TV3 Viasat were televised from London to keep away from the strict advertising rules of Sweden. Featuring mostly entertaining programs, the TV3 Viasat follows a feminist line of thought.

company that offers several free-to-air channels to the customers.
