History of Stockholm School of Economics
During the 19th century, Swedish industry expanded. As a result there was need for trained associates and staffs. This resulted in the formation of the Stockholm School of Economics Association in 1906. In the year 1909, Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) was established. Initially the school was situated in Brunkebergstorg, Stockholm and was later shifted to Sveavägen 65, in 1926.

Those willing to pursue masters program must be fluent in English and have wide knowledge of the field in which she or he is applying. The students are required to score at the upper secondary 20. Credit points from a total of 20 or 1.8 points from a total of 2.0 in the national aptitude test.
