Pakistan Embassy Stockholm offers consular and diplomatic services to Pakistan and Swedish citizens. Stockholm Pakistan Embassy also serves Estonia, Finland, and Latvia. Pakistan Embassy Stockholm Consular Function
The Consular functions of the Pakistan Embassy includes processing of Visas, issue and amendments of passports, issuance of special cards, and other miscellaneous services.
- Visa - The Pakistan Embassy issues four categories of visas. Visit Visa is issued to passport holders with a validity of at least six months. Swedish nationals of Pakistan origin enjoying 5 year visa exemption do not require a renewed Visit Visa. Normally a Visa is issued within 5/6 working days. In urgent cases Visas are made available within 2 days of application.
Business Visas are issued to passport holders having a passport valid for a minimum period of 6 months. Swedish and Finnish business can obtain their business visas on arrival to any Pakistan international airport. Visa on Arrival (VOA), a single entry facility is valid for a period of 30 days. Business visas are processed within 5 to 6 working days normally, and within 1 day in urgent cases.
For work visas the applicant's passport must be valid for a period of at least 1 year. These visas need 3 to 4 months to be processed.
Journalist Visas take 4 to 6 weeks to be processed.

Passports – Pakistanis living as Swedish citizens may apply for a Pakistan passport at the Embassy of Pakistan. Swedish nationals of Pakistan origin and holding a valid Swedish passport may apply for Pakistan passports as 'Dual Nationals'. Renewal and amendments of Pakistan passports are carried out by this embassy.
Special Cards – National ID card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), Pakistan Origin Card (POC), and Foreign Exchange Remittance Card (FERC) are the three varieties of special cards issued for easier movement and faster business transactions in Pakistan.

The commercial activities of Pakistan Embassy in Stockholm includes promotion of Pakistan exports in Sweden, Finland, Latvia, and Estonia. The embassy helps Pakistani companies with information regarding investing and setting up trade in Sweden. The Pakistan embassy also protects Pakistani business interests in the Nordic and Baltic nations as mentioned earlier.

Telephone inquiries can be made on these days between 2:30 pm and 5 pm. The commercial section functions from 9 am to 5 pm on Mondays through Fridays.
