Founded in the year of 1906, Oscarsteatern theatre derived its name from King Oscar II. Oscarsteatern started its musical journey with Frihetsbroderna- a musical play by Jacques Offenbach on the 6th of December, 1906.
The Oscarsteatern theatre can accommodate 905 theatre and music lovers at a single point of time. Originally an integral part of the theatrical group of Albert Ranft, Oscarsteatern is at present administered by Vicky von der Lancken and the production company of 2Entertain AB Group.
