Nordic Museum- A Place to Visit
In the year 1907 this national museum of Sweden's cultural history officially opened its door to the public. Artur Hazelius founded this museum in the 19th century. Initially, the museum was known as the Scandinavian ethnographic collection. However, later it was renamed as the Nordic Museum. On the ground floor of this museum, there is the Royal Armory. Mainly peasant culture gets reflected through the exhibits of the museum.
No entry fee has to be paid to enter this museum. From Tuesday to Friday this museum remains open from 10 am to 4 pm, whereas, on the weekends, people can visit Nordic Museum from 11 am to 5 pm. There is a gift shop as well as a restaurant near this museum.
