Malardrottningen Boat Hotel Stockholm is a unique hotel of its kind in the whole of Stockholm. Located on the Riddarholmen, 111 28 Stockholm, this wonderful ship was built in the year 1924. It was renovated in 1982 and since then it stands on the waters of Lake Malaren serving as one of the most beautiful boat hotel in the world.

This boat hotel has a history. This ship named Vanadis was built in 1924 and owned by Mr. Billings, a rich man in New York. This ship was also the largest ship that was privately owned during his time. Mr. Hutton gifted the ship to Barbara, his daughter as a birthday present. She in turn gifted it to the Royal Navy, serving during the Second World War. The ship stopped it service in Norway.

On Saturdays and Sundays it is served from 7.30 am to 10.30am. The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday between 18.00 and 23.00 hours.
