Kaknastornet is a television tower erected at Morkakroken. It is one of the tourist attractions of Stockholm. The tower measures 499 feet or 155 meter and is one of the tallest structures in Stockholm. It was set up between 1963 and 1967.
The television tower of Kaknastornet has been constructed by Bengt Lindroos and Hans Borgstrom in a period of 4 years; from 1963 to 67. Due to its height of 155 meter, it is considered as one of the tallest buildings in Scandinavia. Teracom, a broadcasting company of Sweden, owes the Kaknastornet tower. The tower is used for transmissions of radio and television channels.

and tourists in the city. A grand view of the Stockholm archipelago is enjoyed by the visitors from the top of the tower. A view of the city of Stockholm can also be enjoyed from the observation platform of the tower.
For the visitors to the tower of Kaknastornet, a restaurant has been set up at the 28th floor of the structure. An information desk is also there to assist the tourists. Entry to the Kaknastornet is not free. A certain entry fee has to be paid for the same. Children below 7 years do not require any entry fee to the Kaknastornet tower. It is 15 SEK for children whose age is between 7 to 15 years. For adults, it is 30 SEK. This tower remains closed on the day of Christmas, Christmas Eve and New Year.
