Haga Park Museum was built between 1787 – 1790 in the shape of tents made of copper plates during Gustav III's rule. Designed by architect Louis Jean Desprez, the museum gives the impression of a sultan's tents at the edge of a forest. Stockholm Haga Park Museum is a part of 'Soha's National City Park', a world class English Park in Sweden. The Park has been designed by Lena Lofgren Uppsall.
Haga Park Museum in Stockholm, consists of three portions, the central Museum is flanked by a restaurant in the east, and accommodation in the west. The facade of all the three portions facing the main lawns are in the shape of tents draped with intricately decorated copper plates. The middle tent was destroyed by fire in 1953 and was re-built between 1962 and 1964 under the guidance of architect Ragnar

Hjorth. Subsequently, in 1977 and 78 the main buildings behind the frontal facades were renovated under the supervision of architect Torbjorn Olsson. The stable yard was converted into a tent room.
Haga Park Museum, Stockholm is accessible by underground railway upto Odenplan and thereafter by Bus Route 515 to Haga Norra. The park timings are:
- 1st October - 14th May : 11 am to 4 pm
- 15th May - 30th September : 11 am to 5 pm
This museum remains closed on Monday. Admission to the museum is free.
