GT-76


GT-76, founded in 1976, is a Bandy club of Sweden. GT -76 was established as a sports club of Stockholm as two former sports clubs Tallen and Gubbangens BK merged to become one bandy club. As a bandy club, GT- 76 has earned a distinctive position in world sports.

Among the Bandy clubs in the world, GT- 76 is considered to be the biggest one. The name of GT- 76 as a Bandy club has achieved acclamation in both national and international level. This sports club also comprises sports teams of handball, football and petanque.

The keeper of the GT-76 generally wears the color black or a combination of white and blue for his shirt. The other members of the team wear a jersey of blue
and yellow during matches. The home matches of this Bandy club are generally held at the Gubbangens Idrottspark. The club GT -76 plays its matches in Division 1 Mellersta.

Becoming a Member of GT- 76:

To become a member of GT- 76, one has to pay a certain amount of fee to the club. Every year, near about 150 members take membership from this club of Stockholm. Children can also become members of this club.

Both girls and boys are allowed to join this sports club. Even children below the age of 5 years have joined this club. GT-76 of Stockholm has separate girls' team and boys' team. A mixed team of boys and girls has also been formed.
