Flaten is geographically located between latitude 59.2 and longitude 17.73. Flaten area is famous for Flaten Lake which is situated in the southern part of Stockholm, in the northern side of Lake Drewiken.

The Flaten Lake is the house of 68 different species of aquatic animals and plants, of which Duck Mussel and European Stream Valvata are few of the unique species.
