Djurgardens IF Hockey was founded in 1891 in Stockholm. It is a sports club that plays ice hockey for Stockholm. For 16 times, the Swedish Championship was won by this sports club of Stockholm. For its remarkable performances, the Djurgardens IF Hockey club has received recognition all throughout Sweden. Presently the captain of Djurgardens IF Hockey is Jimmie Olvestad.

Ridderwall, Mark Owuya, Thomas Johansson and Jonas Liwing. Mats Sundin, one of the former players of the team won gold medal at the Olympics.
