University of Colombo School of Computing is housed at the UCSC Building Complex, 35, Reid Avenue, Colombo 7. In 2002 University of Colombo School of Computing was set up and it offers both graduate and post graduate courses. The Director of this institute is Dr. A. Ruvan Weerasinghe.
The Institute of Computer Technology and the Department of Computer Science were brought together to establish the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC). This educational institute in Colombo was founded by Professor V. K. Samaranayake.
University of Colombo School of Computing operates through a number of centers like the External Degrees Center, Computer Services Center, Professional Development Center, Advanced Digital Media Technology Center and the E- Learning Center.
