First, in a big saucepan, pour oil and butter and then give heat to it. Thereafter pour Colombo powder and chicken into the saucepan and stir them well. Cook until the the chicken gets brown. Roughly 15 minutes time is needed to complete this procedure. Then add onions, coconut milk, lime juice, Scotch bonnet pepper, parsley, pepper and chicken broth is added to it. Boil it for bout 45 minutes. The dish is now ready. Before serving the dish add pistachios, bananas and more coconut milk to it.
Colombo Chowder Bowls
Colombo Chowder Bowls is another delicious cuisine of Colombo. The ingredients used in this delicacy include celery, Colombo Luigis, olive oil, sweet basil, pepper, flour, garlic powder and parsley.
First fry celery and onion. Then add salt, pepper, clam base, garlic powder and chopped clams to it. After this add water to the mixture. Now, in another bowl, mix flour with olive oil in order to make a paste. Then make a hollow on the top of Luigis and fill it with chowder.
