Colombo Municipal Council

The Colombo Municipal Council comprises elected nominees of the local inhabitants of Sri Lanka who are responsible for efficiently managing the administration of the city. Headed by the Chief Justice of Sri Lanka, the Supreme Court fulfills several administrative duties through legal procedures.

The city administration in Colombo is administered by the Mayor and the other elected officials who function in a transparent manner for successful running of the government.
