Getting to Valencia becomes easy due to the presence of a well-knit network of transport in Spain. Valencia can be reached by the help of airways, railways and roadways from the different parts of the world. One can also avail the ferry services in order to reach this Spanish city.

Due to the presence of an extensive network of transportation in Spain, getting to Valencia is not at all a problem. Located in the eastern part of Spain, the city boasts of an excellent network of roadways, airways and railways.

Valencia by Air

Getting to Valencia by air is one of the easiest modes of travel. The city is connected by direct flight from the different cities of Europe. Some of the airlines that offer regular flights to Valencia are Air Europe, Myair, Air Berlin, Easyjet and Ryanair. Valencia can also be reached by plane via Barcelona or Madrid.

The nearest airport of Valencia is Manises. It is an international airport, which is located about 14 km from Valencia. Travelers can avail the taxi or bus services in order to reach the city center from the airport.

Valencia by Rail

Valencia is connected with Barcelona and Madrid by a well-knit network of railways. Tourists willing to come to Valencia by rail can take a flight up to Madrid and Barcelona. Thereafter, they can avail the train services to Valencia.
Although, rail route to Valencia is lengthy, yet it allows the tourists to explore the picturesque beauty of the city.

Valencia is connected to London by rail. It takes about 36 hours to reach the city from London. However, tourists traveling by rail from London are required to change the train in Montpellier and Paris. Estacion del norte is the train station of Valencia, which is located in the city center. The station is served by a number of trains that connects city with the different parts of Spain.

Valencia by Road

Two major highways, namely A-3 and A-7 connect Valencia with the rest of Spain. Cars, coaches and buses are among the roadways that help the tourists to reach this city of Spain. It takes about 4 hours to reach Valencia from Madrid by road. Furthermore, Barcelona can be reached in 5 hours from Valencia. Buses are available from Malaga. Roadways are among the cheapest alternative for travel in Valencia.

Estacion Terminal d'Autobuses is the main bus station of Valencia. It is located at Av de Menendez Pidal 113 in the city center.

Valencia by Ferry

Tourists can also avail ferry services, in order to reach Valencia. Ferry services are available from Ibiza or Balearic Islands throughout the week. The journey from Majorca to reach Valencia takes about 6 hours by ferry. After reaching Valencia by ferry, one can avail bus numbers 19 and 4 in order to reach Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
