Madrid music essentially refers to Flamenco and Jazz, though there are other music forms that are also popular in the city. The nightclubs of Madrid play various types of music like pop, rock, world music, soul music and folk music along with Flamenco and Jazz. Festival de Otono, which is held in Madrid from October to November features musical performances and concerts by many famous musicians and singers.

  • Concerts and performances that are held in September
  • Verbana de la Paloma, featuring traditional dances, music performances and other events held in August.
  • Fiestas de la Almudena, celebrated in November.
Though it is Flamenco and Jazz that are the favorites of the people of Madrid, the city has something for music lovers with varied tastes. The combination of traditional music and current musical genres from across the world gives the city a unique appeal.
