Ciao is an Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian dishes in the Spanish city of Madrid. Ciao has two outlets in Madrid, one is on Calle Apodaca and the other is at Calle Argensola. Both the branches are run by the members of the Laguna family which has a long history of restaurant business in the city.

Ciao was opened in the early 1990s. The distinguishing feature of this restaurant, from the beginning, was its homely atmosphere. The restaurant served home-made pasta and pizza to the customers. Ravioli is always served with wine. The wine cellar at Ciao is enviable in the whole of Madrid. The meat-filled ravioli served at Ciao is very popular amongst the customers. You can also try out the ‘ravioli dal culo nudo’ with lots of grated cheese. All these dishes can be had with various kinds of salads. Main course at the restaurant includes chicken, veal and all kinds of fish preparations. Veal parmigiana, osso buco and chicken scaloppine are the main course dishes.

Tribunal Metro Station is the nearest station to Ciao. The restaurant remains open from Monday to Friday from 1.30 pm till midnight. Saturdays are half-days and on Sunday the restaurant remains closed. The Calle Apodaca branch remains closed during September every year whereas the Calle Argensola branch remains closed in August.
