Fallon Bowman


Fallow Bowman, one of the famed musicians of recent times, is a resident of Cape Town. Fallow Bowman was born on November 16, 1983 in the South African city of Cape Town. Known for her unique music albums, Bowman has been associated with musical groups including 'Kittie' and 'Pigface'. However, she is more popular for her own group named 'Amphibious Assault'.

Fallon Bowman-association with 'Kittie'

The first musical band involving Fallow Bowman was the 'Kittie' formed in 1998 by three friends, Bowman, Mercedes Lander and Morgan Lander. Bowman was a background vocal performer as well as a guitar player in the band. The band was split in 2001. The two popular music albums of 'Kittie' are 'Spit' (released in 1999) and 'Paperdoll' (released in 2000).

Fallon Bowman-beginning of 'Amphibious Assault'

Fallow Bowman later became associated with the group 'Pigface' and performed in several songs in 2003 as part of this band. Her growing interest in industrial music led her to form her own group, 'Amphibious Assault' in 2003. She had come across this particular term in a novel by Tom Clancy and adopted it as the name for her musical group. She began composing pieces using synthesizers and drum machines with the help of musical sequencer.

Fallow Bowman-increasing popularity

The group 'Amphibious Assault' comprises of Fallow Bowman-the lead singer, Pete Henderson-- the guitarist and Talena Atfield--the bass-player. The first album of the band, 'District Six' was released in 2003. The second album called 'On Better Days and Sin-Eating' was released in 2006. The artist and her group also performs in stage shows.
