The Cape Cobras in Cape Town are a local cricket team, which regularly participates, in domestic tournaments. They are also known as the Nashua Cape Cobras. They have started using this new name from the domestic season of 2004-05.
The merger of the Boland team and the Western Province formed the Nashua Cape Cobras team. Initially, both of the teams played in the SuperSport Series. Both these teams have been a part of the South African domestic cricket structure for long. The Boland Park Stadium in Paarl and the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town are both considered as the home grounds of the Nashua Cape Cobra.

Nashua Cape Cobras- Team
The Nashua Cape Cobras in Cape Town also participate regularly in other domestic tournaments in the country. These include the Standard Bank Twenty20 Cup and the MTN Domestic Championships. All these games are restricted to the limited over format.
Thami Tsolekile leads the current Nashua Cape Cobra cricket team. Several players of the national cricket team, both current and former, are also a part of the Cape Cobra squad. These include names like Graeme Smith, Justin Kemp, Mark Boucher, Jacques Kallis, Herschelle Gibbs and Ashwell Prince.
