Vladimir Fock

One of the eminent contributors in the field of general theory of relativity and quantum theory, Vladimir Fock was born on the 22nd of December in the year of 1898. Vladimir Fock pursued his higher studies in Saint Petersburg University (Petrograd). He taught at Saint Petersburg (Leningrad) University for about 40 years.

Major Works of Vladimir Fock

Under the guidance of his teachers, V .K. Frederiks and A .A. Friedmann, Vladimir Fock acquired knowledge on Nostalgic Cosmology and produced a German version of the topic. His scientific bend of mind and clear conceptual ideas, enabled him to make immense contributions in the Spinor Field in GTR and solve motion related problems in GTR.

Vladimir Fock brought out a connection between the theory of dialectical materialism and GTR. In spite of being a man of the scientific world, Vladimir Fock was
inclined to the philosophical world as well which is clearly reflected in his works. Vladmir Fock's scientific works followed a specific methodology which is between mathematical principles and theoretical physics.

Vladimir Fock tried hard to explain the importance of mathematical rules outside the realm of natural science. His way of analyzing things attracted criticism from the contemporary physicists. However, Vladimir Fock was always respected by his fellow colleagues who had high regard for him and his intellect.

Vladimir Fock, the Physicist

Vladmir Fock is known for his revolutionary ideas in the scientific world. The noted physicist expired on the 27th of December in 1974 at Saint Petersburg in Russia.

Vladimr Fock's contribution in Hartree- Fock Method and Fock Space still continue to play a dominant role in the field of physics.
