Trade Development Center, Saint Petersburg was formed to assist foreign companies in establishing themselves in Russia. Saint Petersburg Trade Development Center (SPBTDC), helped foreign corporations in setting up contacts not only in Russia but also in the Confederation of Independent States (CIS) and the Baltic nations.
About St. Petersburg Trade Development Center
SPBTDC was set up as the official trade promotion council of North-West Russia covering 12 territories of total area 1,800,000 square kilometers and inhabited by 18 million people. The Russian territories covered include: Sankt-Peterburg, Nenetski AO, Murmanskaja Oblast, Pskovskaja Oblast, Novgorodskaja Oblast, Kirovskaja Oblast, Arkhansgelskaja Oblast, Kaliningradskaja Oblast, Vologodskaja Oblast, Leningradskaja Oblast, Republic of Komi, and Republic of Karelia.
The SPBTDC is part of North West Association which binds the Government Heads, and Legislative Assembly Heads of all the 12 north west Russian territories. SPBTDC not only helps overseas companies in establishing trade relations in Russia, but also helps Russian organizations in setting up global business links.

Market Research Services - SPBTDC provides a list of manufacturers, dealers, distributors, retailers, exporters and importers to its members on request. The catalogs are available in full, middle-sized, and briefed versions. The middle-sized and brief versions are immensely helpful for small and medium enterprises.
Direct Mail Services - SPBTDC on behalf of its member companies, send mails to the target organizations. All materials are translated into Russian by SPBTDC before being sent to probable Russian clients. Mailers are either sent to specified companies, or other similar companies as discerned by SPBTDC.
Worldwide Business Development - SPBTDC through a number of agents, representatives, affiliates, and partners has links with global commercial bodies. It invites all forms of joint business association between Russian and other commercial organizations of the world.
