From childhood, Romain de Tirtoff was interested in culture and refined art work. Romain de Tirtoff grew up to be a renowned fashion designer of Russia who brought about a revolution in the world of male costumes.
Early Phase in Romain de Tirtoffs' Career
Romain de Tirtoff began his career as a designer in Paul Poiret's Fashion House at 19 years of age in the year of 1912. After some years, he joined the company, Harper's Bazaar magazine where he was assigned with the job of designing the front cover of the magazine. Romain de Tirtoff's brilliant work was immediately recognized and he shot to instant fame.

Romain de Tirtoff designed exclusive apparels for his clients. Apart from designing costumes, Romain de Tirtoff showed his creativity in the field of jewelry making, bronze work and silk embroidery. He continued work till the age of 75 years.
