St. Petersburg, the second largest city of Russia is built along River Neva's delta toward the mouth of the Gulf of Finland. Popular Bridges in St. Petersburg
- Blue Bridge: This is the widest of all bridges in St. Petersburg Russia with a width of 97.3 meters. The bridge is located opposite Mariinsky Palace, adjacent to Isaakievskaya Square. Architect V. Geste designed this beautiful bridge. The bridge has been named after its color.
- The Palace Bridge: This Bridge offers a wonderful view of the attractions like Paul Fortress, Paul Cathedral and S S Peter. The bridge was opened for the vehicles in 1916. Almost 24,000 cars move across the bridge each day. This drawbridge was built in the 20th century.
- Exchange Bridge: Built in 1894, this is the first wooden bridge that was later replaced with steel in 1956.

- Italian Bridge: This Bridge constructed in the Italian style spans over Canal Griboyedova passing between the Church on the Spilled Blood and Nevsky Prospekt. The bridge features ornate lamps, lampposts, girders and railings.
- Alexander Nevsky Bridge: This is St. Petersburg's longest bridge having a length of 905.7 meters. It was constructed in 1960. This bridge is a major link between the city and Malaya Okhta district.
