Ar Ruways

Ar Ruways , also called Ru'ays or Ruweis, is a coastal city. It lies in the Midlle Eastern country of Qatar. The latitudinal and longitudinal extent of Ar Ruways are 24° 6' 37 North and 52° 43' 50 East respectively.

Ar Ruways has a population of about 550 approximately. English though widely spoken in this city, its official language is Arabic. Fishing in Ar Ruways is a regular profession and the varieites of fish found in the area include lobsters, hamour, shrimps and crabs. The pleasant weather and the adjacent coastal beach boosts the tourism of Ar Ruways.

Ar Ruways ' Abu Dhabi emirate is the location of a mammoth industrial complex. Situated along the Persian Gulf, it lies 220 km west from Abu Dhabi, capital of Qatar. There are natural-gas-processing plants in Ar Ruways controlled by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).This city boasts a small airport and is connected to Jabal az-Zannah and Abu Dhabi city by road.

Easy movement around the city, enabled by the fare taxis which include the white and orange taxis or the limousines,facilitate comfortable transportation in Ar Ruways.

Some of the nearby towns and cities include Majra al Ghaf, Awafi, Al Fiyay, Zuwayhir, and Bu Hasa. The airports that lies at close distance to Ar Ruways are Jebel Dhana, Al Hamra Aux, Yas Island and Arzanah.
