Porto is the second largest city in Portugal and the capital of Norte. The city is one of the most industrialized districts of the country. Area & Location:Lying just to the north of a coastal Mediterranean climate zone that encompasses most of central and southern Portugal, Porto is located at 41º9' Latitude North and 8º38' Longitude West. Porto covers a total area of 41.3 sq. km. It serves as home to 238,954 people with density of 5,785 per sq. km.
