They charge an additional 20% surcharge, between 10 pm to 6am.

Coaches in Lisbon enable the travelers to reach any part of the capital city very quickly. Express and regular coaches ply in the city. Three kinds of bus services in Lisbon are Expressos, Rapidas, and Carreiras. Rapidas are reasonably fast while Carreiras are slow.

Travel passes in Lisbon are available for tourists who come to enjoy a long vacation. Travel passes allow unlimited use of buses and Lisbon metro. The duration of these passes may be either weekly or fortnightly.
