Euronext Lisbon is the stock exchange of Portugal with its headquarters in Lisbon. It is a part of the NYSE Euronext group, which was the first global stock exchange.
On 4th April, 2007, NYSE Euronext was launched by combining of NYSE Group, Inc. and Euronext N.V. NYSE Euronext comprising of NYSE/New York and Euronext/Paris: NYX, which is the largest and the most liquid exchange group of the world. Various types of financial products and services are offered by the exchange.
The NYSE Euronext is a world leader for listed companies, dealing in cash equities, bonds, equity and interest rate derivatives. It also presents statistical representation of market data. It combines six cash equities exchanges of five countries and the six derivatives exchanges. The average daily trading value of the combined markets of NYSE Euronext is calculated to be nearly $102 billion/€77 billion (as of February 28, 2007).

The management structure of Euronext Lisbon comprises of a Supervisory Board and the Managing Board. A corporate governance policy has been formulated by Euronext. On 1 June 2005, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders was held which has approved the corporate governance structure and policy of Euronext. The trading hours at Euronext Lisbon are between 9 am. to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
