Lodz is more familiar as a center of culture in Poland. It is also well-known as a tourist attraction, which holds a number of historical museums and churches. St. Josephs Church, Lodz is one of them.
The Church is the oldest one in the city. Built in between 1765 to 1768, the church was at that time, situated in the Koscielny Square. In 1888, it was shifted from its former location to a new place, which was situated near the Manufaktura centre of Lodz.

Very small in size, the Church is also the only pre-19th century building of the city of Lodz. Wood was used to construct this historical Church of Lodz. Initially, it was in the Koscielny Square of Lodz.
For its historical value, it has become one of the distinguished tourist attractions in the city.
