Lodz Regional Tramway was launched on 7th July, 2007. Lodz Regional Tramway is a fast train that connects the city with various destinations. In the northern side, the tramline connects Lodz with Zgierz. In the southern part of the city, the regional tramway connects Ksawerow with Pabianice.

MPK, which is a limited liability company possessed by City of Lodz, supplies 380 tram wagons and has the responsibility to serve 15 tramlines.
