Moniuszko Park

Moniuszko Park was opened to the public in the year 1874. The Park borders with the city train station. Hilary Majewski is the designer of this famous Lodz Park. However, the Park was remodeled in the year 1934.

Lodz Moniuszko Park was known as Park Kolejowy and
later came to be known as Aleksandrowski.

The Moniuszko Park in Lodz was renamed in the year 1960s. The Park was so named in order to honour Stanislaw Moniuszko, one of the renowned composers of Poland. The statue of the Stanislaw Moniszko stands in this Park. Today, the Park is one of the Lodz attractions.
