Malacanang Palace, Manila is the official residence of the Philippines President. Also known as Palasyo ng Malakanyang in Filipino, it is ideally situated in the north bank of the Pasig River. It was built in the late 18th century by Don Luis Rocha, a Spanish aristocrat. It was first occupied by Governor General Rafael de Echague y Berminghan. The Malacanang Park is located across the Pasig River. This park possesses a golf course, a recreation hall and a Commonwealth-era presidential rest house.
The complex where the Malacanang Palace of Manila stands has the following:

- Mabini Hall
- Kalayaan Hall
- Bonifacio Hall
- New Executive Building
The Malacanang Palace displays marvelous artworks, photographs and furniture in the galleries situated on the ground floor in the old American colonial rooms of Kalayaan Hall. It has been opened for public since 1986. The first floor consists of the following galleries:
- Old Governor's Office Gallery
- Old Executive Secretary's Office Gallery
- Main Hall

- East Staircase Gallery
- Old Reception Room Gallery
- West Staircase Gallery
The second floor consists of:
- Roxas Room (Old Cabinet Room)
- Quezon Room (Old President's Office)
- Quirino Room (Old Council of State Room)
The Main Hall exhibits Campaign Posters of the 1965 Presidential Elections. The Northeast Gallery has exhibits the relics of the Presidency of Ferdinand E. Marcos. The Southeast Gallery displays religious images and objects.
For visiting the Malacanang Museum, one has to take permission at least 7 days in advance. It is open for the visitors from 9 am to 4 pm. The students and senior citizens are charged a fee of P50.00 or P30.00.
