Manila Bulletin ranks second among the oldest newspapers in Philippines. This Manila newspaper was launched in the year 1900 and was also known as Bulletin Today. At present, it is also known as Bulletin. At the initial stages the newspaper was a shipping journal. It was owned by Hans Menzi, a Swedish living in Manila. Manila Bulletin Newspaper is currently owned by Emilio Yap, a Filipino- Chinese businessman. The Manila Hotel and the Euro-Phil Laboratories are also owned by Emilio Yap.

The Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation publishes three dailies namely the Bulletin, Balita and Tempo. Besides dailies, some magazines are also published by this publishing house. Some of the dailies published by this publication group are Philippine Panorama, Bisaya and Bannawag. The Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation also publishes journals in English and other Filipino languages like Tagalog and Cebuano.
