BATANGAS CITY

Batangas City is the capital of Batangas in Philippines. It is the city in the Batangas Province. The city is a major recreational, religious, commercial, industrial and educational center in Batangas. It is also its largest city.



Area & Location: Located 13°45'25. 96" Latitude North and 121°3'29. 2" Longitude East, the city covers a total area of 283.30 sq. km. The city has a population of 247, 588 with density of 873.94 per sq. km.

Transportation: The city has an extensive transport system. Having the largest seaport, the main mode of transportation is through sea. Fast ferries, ships and other sea vessels help in this transportation.
