Located at 50, Sharah-e-Abdul Hameed Bin Badees, (Old Empress Road) near Shimla Hill, the US Consulate in Lahore represents the US Government in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The office of the consulate is governed by the American Ambassador who sits in Islamabad. The consulate represents the Department of State and the Department of Commerce of the United State of America.

The consulate runs a number of services for the American citizens in Lahore, Pakistan. These services include providing usable and important information to the American citizens traveling to Pakistan. It also offers the American businessmen the facility of Pakistan visa for thirty days on their arrival on the fulfillment of certain terms and conditions. It safeguards the rights of Americans living in Pakistan and also provides them, necessary help and assistance during time of grave emergencies.
The US Consulate also provides new American passports and replacements if a person looses

his/her passport. This is done after the fulfillment of certain formalities as per the norms of the American government.
