AUCKLAND

The Auckland Metropolitan Area also known as Greater Auckland is the largest urban area in New Zealand and most often visited by the tourist who comes for New Zealand Tour. In 1840, the new Governor of New Zealand, William Hobson, chose Port Nicholson as the administrative capital. He announced the name 'Auckland' in 1842.
