  6. A20 (North Ring): Hoek van Holland - R'dam - Gouda
The city is easily accessible by car. Those who are going from Amsterdam can take the A4 south to Hague and from there can divert to A13 to reach the city. If you are going to Rotterdam by car from Utrecht, take the A12 and then change at A20 after reaching Gouda. Traffic is congested during peak commuting hours of morning and evening, so starting a bit early is advised.

The distance of Rotterdam from Amsterdam is 50 miles, so it will take you about an hour. From Utrecht, you can reach the city in even lesser time. Car rental companies like Hertz, Avis, and Europcar offer services to and from Rotterdam and other cities.
