Diergaarde Blijdorp:
Diergaarde Blijdorp is one of the oldest zoos of Netherlands. The history of this zoo can be traced back to 1857. It was destroyed in bombing during World War II. The zoo was rebuilt and the new zoo was designed by Sybold van Ravesteyn. The new zoo was opened in 2004. The zoo is home to a botanical garden and the Dutch National Bromelia Collection. The zoo remains open throughout the year. The zoo has a quarterly magazine, which is called Blijdorp Blad. You can have an easy access to the zoo from any part of the city since it is quite close to the Rotterdam Central Station.
Feijenoord Stadion:
Feijenoord Stadion is the home ground of the football club Feyenoord. Established in 1938, it has hosted many national and international matches like 2002 UEFA Cup Final, Euro 2000 and so on. Designed by Johannes Brinkman and Leendert van der Vlugt, this stadium has the capacity to accommodate 51,177 people at a time. Euroscoop & Euromast:
Euroscoop & Euromast form an integral part of Rotterdam attractions. The Euromast is the highest lookout tower of Netherlands. It was built in 1960 to commemorate the international garden festival. Visiting this 185 meter high tower is a thrilling experience. The Euroscoop is housed in the platform outside the Euromast. You can get a view of the Antwerp and Madurodam from the top of this tower.
