On an average, the RAI center holds about 500 trade shows, meetings, congress sessions and other social functions in a year and draws about 2 million visitors from different parts of the globe. Some of the popular trade shows held at the RAI Center include- Intelligent Energy Convention, Ifra Expo, IBC Expo, BouWRAI, Transec World Expo, Horecava, Intertraffic and others.

The IBC Expo is held for the media industry, BouWRAI is meant for the building and construction industry, Horecava is meant for the hotel and catering industry, Ifra Expo is meant for the newspaper and publishing industry, Intelligent Energy Convention is meant for the petroleum and energy sector industries and Intertraffic is meant for the traffic and related industries.
