About Ifra
The Ifra is the sole international institution of its kind which aims at facilitating betterment of industrial relations between the raw material suppliers and publishing houses. This organization was founded in the year 1961, when European publishers started using colors in newspapers for the first time in the history of print media. Since then, the organization has flourished greatly and currently more than 3,000 organizations from about 70 different nations of the world make use of the technological expertise and facilities provided by this organization.

The Ifra Expo-Amsterdam, 2008 is expected to be a huge success since the city is an important commercial hub and is easily accessible as well. Ifra Expo 2007
The Ifra Expo 2007 was held in Vienna from 8 to 11 October and more than 10,600 people from the newspaper and media industry of 87 different countries participated in the event. The exhibition witnessed 15,000 exhibitors from 33 different countries and there were 99 new companies who exhibited their work at the Ifra Expo for the first time.
IfraExpo India-2007
Ifra also organized a special event called IfraExpo India in 2007 which was held in Chennai from 4-6 September. This event completely focused on the Indian newspaper market. The event was followed by a seminar where the top executives from the newspaper and publishing industry expressed their views and the event was highly successful.
