Partner Companies of IBC
The IBC is owned by six partner companies which include-IEEE, RTS, IABM, SCTE, IET and SMPTE. Each of these member companies have their representatives as a Board member, who looks after the legal formalities and operations of the IBC. The Board members work in complete co-operation to maintain the smooth functioning of the organization.
IBC Council
There are special committees which look after the Conference, Exhibition, Technical Resources and Companions' Program of the IBC division. The IBC Council was specially created so that the organization could meet the ever-changing demands of the media industry on an international basis as well.
IBC Exhibition
The IBC exhibition allows the leaders in the industry to showcase their latest products and ideas. This is an internationally renowned exhibition which showcases more than 1,300 industries from 130 different countries and is attended by more than 45,000 people every year. The exhibition is the ideal place to promote new products and get to know about the latest demands and changes that are taking place in the electronic media world.
2007 IBC Expo
The 2007 IBC Expo was held from 7-11 September and the venue was the RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre in Amsterdam. More than 1,300 exhibitors showcased their products at the IBC2007 exhibition. The IBC International Honor for Excellence was won by Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple. The IBC Innovation Award is also an excellent award which salutes the merits of technical excellence.
2008 IBC Expo
The 2008 IBC Expo will be held from 11 September and the first day would flag-start with a conference. The exhibition will be held from 12 to 16 September at the RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre, Amsterdam.
