The distance between the capital city of Nepal and Gorkha is roughly 143 kilometers. Around 4 to 5 hours time is required to reach Gorkha from Kathmandu. Gorkha is situated in between Pokhara and Kathmandu. By boarding a public bus and taxi one can reach Gorkha. Gorkha is also considered to be a trekking paradise, so, the trained mount climbers can go from Kathmandu to Gorkha by trekking. The Prithvi Highway runs from Kathmandu to Gorkha. By following this route, one can very easily reach the picturesque town of Grokha.
