Bandar Tun Razak is a popular township of Kuala Lumpur. Declared as parliamentary constituency in 1981, the town is well known for its educational facilities, gardens and lakes.
Erstwhile Kampung Konggo is now known as Bandar Tun Razak. It was a small town, earlier inhabited by the retired army employees of the Malaysian army who worked for the Democratic Republic of Congo in the year 1960. Later, this town was refurbished and in 1981, Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad renamed it as Bandar Tun Razak. In 1990, the town was recognized as a single parliamentary constituency.
The town of Bandar Tun Razak accommodates a number of residential areas. Taman Segar, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Chan Sow, Alam Damai, and the Sungai Besi Military Camp all come under the Bandar Tun Razak constituency.

The town also offers a vibrant nightlife. KL Downtown is a popular night market of the place. Another popular area to enjoy the nightlife of the town is the Bandar Sri Permaisuri.
