Bishkek is one of the most developed and beautiful cities of Kyrgyzstan. It is primarily a Soviet built city and boasts of some great historical sites and museums. Ala-Archa Nature Reserve is also one
of the prime attractions of Bishkek and is one of the best places for trekking and skiing. Burana Tower belongs to the 11th century and is the only remains of the Balasagun city. Chernyshevsky Public Library, Ballet Theatre, Kyrgyz State Opera and the State Art Museum are the other attractions of the city. Zoological Museum, Lenin Museum and History Museum are some of the other attractions of the city.
The government has initiated plans to redevelop the General Frunze Museum. The museum was built to honor Kyrgyz-born Russian general who was responsible for subduing the people of Central Asia. The city is slowly developing as a tourist destination and there are good numbers of hotels. The tourists can enjoy in the fine restaurants and cafes of Bishkek .Making reservations in the hotel is not very difficult .There is a hotel for every budget and they offer all the necessary amenities to the guests.
