One of the striking features of this lake is that it changes its color from white to pink, from indigo to cobalt and from soft pastels to deep scarlet. This is because position of sun changes with time and its rays also fall from different angles, on the basis of which color of the lake changes.
A huge number of Flamingos can also be seen here. This is because this place is comparatively free from the clutch of predators. Some of the toughest fish of Africa live in this lake. Tilapia Grahami is one of these types of fish. They mainly live in the hot spring.
