Higher Education in Nairobi
There are a few reputed institutions in Nairobi where students can pursue higher studies. Nairobi University set up in 1956 is the oldest institution in Kenya. Kenyatta University run by the state is one of the leading institutions for higher studies. During 1980's and 1990's, a few private organizations were established. Utalii College was opened in 1969.
