WTC Tokyo


WTC Tokyo also known as Tokyo World Trade Center was set up in 1964 by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Tokyo WTC belonging to World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) aims for the growth and development of Japanese industries in the global market.

WTC Tokyo Functions

The functions performed by World Trade Center in Tokyo have been summarized hereunder:
  • Trade Information Services – Tokyo WTC .provides export and import information to its Japanese member companies and members of other World Trade Centers. These information are available either at the WTC office in Tokyo or on-line. Bulletin boards are also put up which can be accessed free of cost by any member.
  • Educational Services – Conducting training programs is one of the most important functions of Tokyo World Trade Center. It
    organizes training programs in commercial activities, technical possibilities, and linguistics. Business training in international and domestic trade are also offered.
  • Business Services – The business services provided by WTC Tokyo comprise providing consultancy in overseas business, arranging appointments, interpretation services, and commercial and entrepreneurial research
  • Event Planning and Implementation – World Trade Center Tokyo arranges lectures, conferences, seminars, for its member organizations. It also organizes trade exhibitions, international trade fairs, association tours.
  • Translation and Publishing Services – Tokyo WTC publishes catalogs, business magazines, research material, and brochures as forms of publicity and information. In addition, providing translation services in over 10 languages for its members is another important activity.
